Sepang, Malaysia - 2nd Place (+ 22.7 sec.)

Race was stopped in a red flag due to heavy rain. Nick was then 3rd, but rules say in case of race stopped by red flag, the positions 1 lap before it will count to podium. That made Nick 2nd. Also, instead of 8 points, he got 4, because it was stopped with less than 2/3 of it completed.

2008

Spa Francorchamps - 2nd Place (+ 23.800 sec.)
September 7th, 2008
Race finished with following results: 1st Lewis Hamilton, 2nd Felipe Massa, 3rd Nick Heidfeld. However, Lewis was penalized with 25s+ for cutting a chicane. That gave Nick the second position, after the race.
